Sales Engineer Europe

To our large international customers and resellers we are offering the possibility to have a tailor-made solution based on their specific needs and requirements.We are dedicated to the  standardised SolidWorks platform.

The role
As a  Sales Engineer you translate customer needs into technical solutions and commercial proposals based on a (customer specific) product catalogue. You make quotations, sales price calculations and planning schedules that include also live software demonstrations.

As an Inside Sales Engineer you analyse customer requirements and existing systems on-site using data from a wide range of sources and you identify possible impacts on the business.

Therefore you

  • investigate customer needs.
  • evaluate and assess technical and functional specifications of customers against standards.
  • also analyse hit-rates and discuss outcomes and possible actions with Sales Director or Partner Manager

For your customers you are their first point of contact for technical questions and on the status of enquiries, orders, new developments, etc. We also expect you to take the lead in initiating and coordinating the follow up of such customer requests.

Your profile

  • You have pleasure in applying your technical expertise within a commercial environment.
  • You combine creativity with a high level of quality and commercial awareness.
  • You have experience in a project related environment and the ability to work well with other people as part of a team.
  • You like to work in a highly international and dynamic environment, with customers varying from small local companies to large international manufacturers and EPC companies
  • You are flexible and able to handle changing priorities and strict deadlines well.
  • You have excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.

Your qualifications

  • At least a bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical or controls engineering or alike.
  • Minimal 3 years of experience within a technical commercial position within a B2B environment for capital equipment.
  • A good command of Dutch, English and German

Lead Generator / Telemarketeer / Telesales

This is a brand new role and the successful candidate MUST have previous telesales/ telemarketing experience as well as experience of working on a CRM database.

An excellent opportunity for someone with this experience to join an established company, as a Lead Generator/ Telemarketer/ Telesales candidate you will be responsible for:

  • Proactively seeking out new lead opportunities
  • Outbound prospecting clients for specific campaigns to generate good quality leads
  • Cleanse & develop CRM data

Your qualifications

  • At least a bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical or commercial economics.

Your qualifications

  • Knowledge of SolidWorks ; the leading Mechanical CAD software solution provide
  • Knowledge of the major plant design software solutions (Intergraph, Aveva, Autodesk, Bentley)
  • Experience with plant design / engineering projects (either with O/O or EPC/ Contractors)
  • Hands on & can do mentality, flexible attitude
  • Good communication skills; fluent in English
  • Willingness to travel
